Tyler (タイラー・スティーブンソン?) is a half-human, half-wolf creature in SaGa Frontier 2. Although Tyler's fearsome looks may scare many people, he is utterly trustworthy and very brave. Tyler is capable of assessing any situation and is thus fully trusted by his comrades.
Tyler joins Wil's party as soon as Wil tries to enter the sewer area in the Ruins of Hahn. He remains with him and is available as an ally for the entirety of his chapters. His last playable appearance is in "Wil vs. Egg".

Gameplay
Tyler is a powerful front line fighter with great HP, LP, and WP. He has proficiency with Beast and Stone Spell Arts and is one of the game's few Axe experts.
Tyler is a melee combat focused character due to his great stats for survival ability and great growth with the powerful Axe weapons. His low SP growth and limited Spell Art proficiency make it ideal to focus on his combat ability and perhaps teach him only a few useful Spell arts like Life Water and Stone Armor. Tyler is also one of the slower character in the game but this can taken advantage of with combos and the right Roles in place.
His best Roles will focus on raising his damage potential or defensive capabilities so, War God, Defense, Ace, and Cannoball are ideal.
