He briefly appears in the scenario Southern Fort where he is in charge of a scouting mission under Gustave's orders. His group is tricked by a man claiming his village was being attacked by monsters before leading the group on a wild goose chase while monsters raze the Southern Fort.
He eventually figures out the ruse and heads back to camp, only to meet up with his father and Ventarbre fleeing from the camp. Realizing the trap, Flynn rushes back to help Gustave with Dirk following behind. The team is unable to find Gustave or Johan, but instead find Gustave's famous Steel Sword.
Little else is known about him other than his father being Flynn and that Gustave has greater confidence in his ability over his father.
