Constance (コンスタンツ Konsutantsu?), also known as Konstanze, is a minor NPC character in Romancing SaGa and its remake, Romancing SaGa: Minstrel Song. She was born in Mirsaburg. She is the daughter of Lord Theodore, one of the few remaining knights of the Knights Dominion. She is seen in various quests in Mirsaburg and Eugenstadt castle, and ends up marrying Raphael late in the game.
She is voiced in Japanese by Junko Minagawa and in English by Erika Lenhart in the remake.
Profile[edit]
Appearance[edit]
Cosntance wears a long pink dress and is blonde. Her artwork depicts her wearing a veil
In Minstrel Song, Constance doesn't get many changes, her pink dress is shortened and her veil is now pink, while her hair is also a light blue.
Personality[edit]
Constance is not very characterized beyond her love for Raphael.
Story[edit]
During the "Theodore's Madness" quest, she will give you her special key, which will unlock the secret passage into Mirsaburg castle (accessed behind the shops in town). Later on, you may also take her with you to rescue Theodore, but this is entirely optional and does not add anything other than a slightly different scene when Theodore is found.
She also plays an important role in the final events, carrying a message from the Dominion to Prince Neidhart in Rosalia, warning of the siege on Estamir by Saruin's forces.
