Farah (ファラ Faara?) is a minor non-playable character in Romancing SaGa and a playable character in its remake, Romancing SaGa: Minstrel Song. She is a friend of Jamil. She was born in Estamir. She can be found in her house in South Estamir.
She is voiced in Japanese by Satsuki Yukino and in English by Hunter Mackenzie Austin.

Appearance[edit]
Farah has long blue hair and wears an orange dress, a yellow cloak with an orange marking of the sun embedded on it, and leg bracelets, seemingly lacking shoes.
In Minstrel Song, Farah has short black hair, tied onto a bun, while also wearing a turquoise vest, a yellow skirt with white markings, and white shoes with yellow shoestrings.
Personality[edit]
Farah is a good friend of Jamil. She is shown to be quite laid back, even in tough situations, apparent in the Wuhan's Secret quest, where she playfully laughs at Jamil's unpenetrable disguise.
Story[edit]
She lives in South Estamir and can be recruited there if your main character is not Jamil. However, in order to recruit her you must save her from Wuhan after being kidnapped. Later, during the "Assassin's Guild" quest, visit Farah in her house to witness an important scene. Afterwards, she will be recruitable. In Jamil's ending scene, when her mother talks about a rich boy from Estamir, Farah tells her to knock it off, exclaiming that Jamil will come back, showcasing the possibility of her having a romantic interest torwards him.
Due to the fact that it's hard to get Jamil and Dowd in the same party and it's literally impossible to recruit her during Jamil's playthrough, some players set themselves upon the challenge of having "The Estamir Trio" in their party. This can only work if the main character is female (as this will give the player the chance to recruit Jamil even when having Dowd in the party, as with an empty party slot, Jamil will show up during the Farah rescue scenario and will still be able to enter the party). This is however a very nasty thing to pull off as should the player dismiss a party member like Dowd or Jamil, then they won't be recruitable as the rule goes "one or the other".

- Recruitable from South Estamir, Farah's House, unless your playing as Jamil, then you won't be able to recruit her. The option to recruit her only opens up after a cutscene during the Assassins' Guild quest where you enter her house and talk to her.

Trivia[edit]
- In the original Romancing Saga, it might be hinted at that Farah and her mother are homeless. Hints include her lack of footwear and the fact that she and her mother always stay in the same spot, with the exception of the Wuhan's Secret quest, were Farah is kidnapped.
