Herman (エルマン Eruman?) is a minor playable character from Romancing SaGa and its remake, Romancing SaGa: Minstrel Song.
He appears in Barbara's Scenario as a starting character He also appears in the Other scenario, recruitable from Weston, which can only be unlocked by recruiting Barbara.
He is voiced in Japanese by Daisuke Sakaguchi in the remake.

Appearance[edit]
Herman sports a large yellow hat, a pair of glasses, a moustache/goatee combo, a regular white tunic with stipped blue/white sleeves, and fabric tied around his torso, holding some documents, obvious sign of his job.
In Minstrel Song, Herman is radically different, not only being younger, but also being more carefree. He sports an oddly triangular yellow "hat" with various markings, brown pants, a white shirt with yellow and red pieces of fabric, and pink (?) shoes.
Personality[edit]
Not much is known about Herman besides the fact he is a manager.
Story[edit]
Working as a Trader, Herman often reminds people of his strange looks. He works with Barbara managing the money for her performances on the road. Other than that, not much is known about him.
Gameplay[edit]
Herman has horrible stat growth in practically all areas, save Vitality and Compassion. As such, making him a damage-soaker is a viable option. His Intelligence is also negligible, unless augmented with the right equipment set-up. His only saving grace is his very high LP. He has little use otherwise.
