An adventurer searching for treasure deep within [[Frosthold Fortress]], Red Mage is able to use Necromancy and Sorcery; both of which are forbidden magic that cannot be used by anyone else. In the SNES original, he instead has the ability to use Dark and Evil magic, which are, in the same nature as the remake, unavailable to the player. Despite the remake's absence of what is called sorcery magic, said magic is one of the most available types in the original. | |||
He is only recruitable, and playable, for the duration of Frosthold Fortress. Most of his equipment slots are locked and he will immediately disband if you attempt to leave the Fortress, making his true motives appear even more suspicious. | |||

Background and Story[edit]
