When first met, Ward will offer a job to go to the Ice Lake and defeat the monsters there before the hunting season (If you're playing with [[Harid]] you may have difficulty triggering this event depending on what you did, as Ward will comment on his greediness). Such event is necessary to trigger the Aurora Borialis and unlock the snowman village. After this Ward will return to Justerm, where he offers to join the party to get some money.
