List of Romancing SaGa 3 skills

This is a list of skills, also known commonly as techs, in Romancing SaGa 3.

Skills are abilities that characters learn and use during battle. They can deal more damage than a regular attack, inflict additional effects or even guard against enemy attacks. There are eight types of skills, one for each of the weapon types and another for martial arts, which is barehanded. Some skills may only be used by a certain weapon and other techs may be used by multiple weapon types.

Skills can also be forgotten and learned from the skills menu. Skills highlighted in red indicate unlearned skills.

Weapons

Axe

Cut Timber	[Attack/Near/Single Foe]	4	Attack with your axe. Very effective against plants.

Bow

Rapid Volley	[Attack/Near/All Foes]	2	Attack with your bow randomly.
Id Break	[Attack/Long/Single Foe]	3	Attack and confuse the enemy with your bow.
Beast Chaser	[Attack/Long/Single Foe]	3	Attack with your bow. Very effective against beasts.
Quick Nock	[Attack/Long/Single Foe]	5	Attack with your bow swiftly for a preemptive attack.
Flash Arrow	[Attack/Long/Single Foe]	4	Attack with your bow to blind the enemy.
Sidewinder	[Attack/Long/Single Foe]	5	Attack with your bow. Very effective against frogs.
Arrow Barrage	[Attack/Long/Single Foe]	6	Attack with your bow. Very effective against flying enemies.
Taunting Shot	[Debuff/Ling/Single Foe]	2	Use a wild motion and shoot an arrow to instigate the enemy.

Dead-On/Justice Mete ジャストミート	[Attack/Near/Single Foe]	2	Parry and attempt to counter with your club.
Aero Beat エアロビート	[Attack/Near/Single Foe]	3	Strike the atomosphere with your club to attack enemies with a shockwave.
Quick Draw 居合い抜き	[Attack/Near/Single Foe]	3	Attack with the hidden blade in your staff at the end of turn. Transforms into a shortsword.
Rotator/Rotating Hit 回転撃	[Attack/Near/Single Foe]	4	Attack twice with your club.
Bonecrusher 骨砕き	[Attack/Near/Single Foe]	4	Attack and lower the enemy's strength with your club. Very effective against skeletons.
Midas Touch マイダスハンド	[Attack/Near/Single Foe]	4	Transform enemies into money with your staff.
Stealth Swing 振り逃げ	[Attack/Near/Single Foe]	5	Swing and attack with your club before hiding in the shadows.
Seismic Strike/Earthquake 大震撃	[Attack/Near/All Foes]	6	Strike the ground with your club to attack and stun enemies with a quake.
Gravity Wave 活殺重力破	[Attack/Near/Single Foe]	6	Attack and lower the enemy's speed with your club. Strength increases with level.
Rock Splitter 削岩撃	[Attack/Near/Single Foe]	7	Attack with your club. Very effective against ghosts.
Reverse Swallow 抜刀ツバメ返し	[Attack/Near/Single Foe]	7	Continuously attack with the hidden blade in your staff at the end of turn. Transforms into a shortsword.
Grand Slam グランドスラム	[Attack/Near/All Foes]	9	Strike the ground hard and damage enemies at the end of turn with the resulting quake.
Nutcracker かめごうら割り	[Attack/Near/Single Foe]	11	Perform a powerful attack and lower the enemy's defense with your club.

Gravedigger/Earth Surge 地走り	[Attack/Near/Horizontal]	4	Use your greatsword and damage enemies with a shockwave through the ground.
Exorcism Blade 退魔神剣	[Attack/Near/All Foes]	5	Deal damage to demon and undead foes with a holy power.
Bullrush/Bull Crusher ブルクラッシュ	[Attack/Near/Single Foe]	6	Swing widely with your greatsword to deal heavy damage.
