Fullbright has a staff equipped initially and also starts with a few Solar and Byakko spells. He is an excellent attacking and healing mage, making him a solid choice for any lineup. His internal natural growth is geared toward Byakko magic, so he focuses on this more than anything. His unusually high dexterity (20) means he can can be fairly competent with shortswords and bows if the player so chooses.
