The Four Sinistrals
The Four Sinistrals (Devil Lords in the Mana Sword patch) are the main villains from Romancing SaGa 3. The group is composed of Alloces, Buné, Forneus and Aunus.
Story[edit]
The Four Sinistrals are the rulers of the Abyss, a dimension inhabited by demons. About 600 years ago, the Death Eclipse—a cataclysmic event that occurs once every 300 years, wiping out all newborn life on the planet—struck the world. A single child survived the eclipse, inheriting immense magical powers and becoming the Devil King, who ruled with an iron fist. The Devil King opened the gates to the Abyss, allowing the Four Sinistrals to enter and serve him. However, one day, the Devil King mysteriously vanished, leaving the Four Sinistrals to rule the world unchecked.
Around 300 years ago, the Death Eclipse struck again, and once more, only one child survived. This child became the Holy King and, with the aid of powerful weapons and allies, banished the Four Sinistrals back to the Abyss.
Fifteen years ago, the Death Eclipse returned, and its power once again opened the Abyss Gates. However, the gates were too small for the Four Sinistrals to pass through, so they sent clones of themselves to capture the new destined child, hoping to fully open the gates. The clones were defeated by a group of heroes, and the gates were sealed. Yet, as the final gate closed, Sarah, one of the two destined children, entered the Abyss and sacrificed herself to ensure peace for the world until the next eclipse.
The heroes, along with The Boy, the other destined child, discovered a hidden Abyss Gate still open. They set out to destroy the Four Sinistrals and rescue Sarah. After a fierce battle, the true Four Sinistrals were defeated one by one, leaving the heroes to confront the Destroyer in a final effort to save Sarah and the world.
