Monica Ausbach (モニカ・アウスバッハ Monika Ausubahha?) is a main character in Romancing SaGa 3. She is a princess, and the sister of Michael. She can be found in Roanne.

Monica is loving and kind, and cares about the safety and welfare of those around her. She will go to any length to ensure that those she feels responsible for are safe.
Story
Monica is walking around her castle late at night wondering about her brother, Michael and she hears voices in the throne room. She listens in on a conversation between Baron Godwin and her kingdom's minister. They discuss a plot to overthrow Michael and allow Godwin to become the new Marquis, suggesting that they will also eliminate Monica to achieve their goals.
A shocked Monica slowly walks away from the door and runs to Katharina's room, warning Katharina of what she had overheard. Katharina tells Monica that she will try to alert Michael of the ongoing threat but Monica states that she will handle it. Katharina complies with Monica's request and stays behind at the castle to cover for her. Monica dons an adventurer's outfit and opens a hidden panel in Katharina's mirror, exiting the castle and setting off by horseback towards her brother's camp.
