Katharina Rawn (カタリナ・ラウラン) is a main character in Romancing SaGa 3. She is only playable in her scenario and cannot be recruited, but she does join both Michael and Harid briefly at the beginning of their stories.

Story
Monica places great trust in Katharina, seeing as how she is her personal bodyguard. Michael places trust in her as the guardian of the Masquerade; a remnant of the Holy King given to the Loanne family. During the attempted Coup de etat by Baron Godwin, Katharina sent Monica away to protect her as Godwin was to use her as bait to lure Michael into a trap. Katharina is captured during the Coup and is able to escape the prison by placing the Jailer's key in an empty cell beforehand, presuming that they will throw her in there since the other cells are occupied. After she escapes she meets up with Harid and Michael in the middle of the reclamation of the castle and helps rout out the remainder of the monsters infesting it.
