1305 - Pursuing the Egg
Pursuing the Egg (1305) is the # 22nd scenario of Wil Knights' side of the story in SaGa Frontier 2.

Objective[edit]
Wil Knights arrives in North Gate in search of Ginny who reveals what she learnt at the "Insect Megalith". Wil in turn recounts what he knows about the infamous Egg, before all 5 members head to Thermes.
Before visiting the Inn have a look at the wares on offer in the streets (such as the Steel equipment). When you are stocked up, enter the Inn to find an old friend, Master Ventarbre, waiting for you. He reports upon many pretenders to Sir Gustave's succession after the late Kings untimely death. One of them seems to stand out from the crowd; being in possession of an egg-shaped Egg. This "Fake Gustave" is staying in Hahn Nova and you should pay him a visit. Before leaving, Ventarbre asks you to take along his apprentice, Meythia.

Notes[edit]
- This scenario is largely cinematic based, with little input from the player. However, make sure to check out the shops in Thermes during your brief time in control.
- Wil Knights is finally back as a playable character, though due to his increased age of 85 his initial stats have all dropped; 355 - 172 HP, 19 - 17 LP, 49 - 36 WP. However, his SP has risen slightly; 54 - 59 SP
