1292 - Kelvin's Last Battle
Kelvin's Last Battle (1292) is the # 23rd scenario of Gustave XIII in SaGa Frontier 2.

Objective[edit]
As Kelvin is still technically King Sho's subject, he is forced to accept the King's invitation to Gruegel. Danger, in the guise of Duke Edmund of Laubholz, presents itself at the city gates so Kelvin sends his son Charles to the King's audience. His brother Philippe III is to deal with Edmund's army.
The Battle[edit]
- Victory Conditions - Defeat Duke Edmund, or, Defeat at least half of the army
- Defeat Conditions - Kelvin is defeated
- Troops - Kelvin unit, Philippe III unit, Infantry unit x3
This is a fairly easy battle if you concentrate all your efforts on defeating just Duke Edmund. Try not to waste time or units defeating his outlying troops and attempt to surround the Duke for a series of successive battles until he falls.
However, even your success cannot prevent the alliances from falling apart. A new age of incessant warfare dawns. Kelvin is only to experience two years of this before he succumbs to the eventual loss of his Anima.
