1288 - Death of Cantal
Death of Cantal (1288) is the # 22nd scenario of Gustave XIII in SaGa Frontier 2.

Objective[edit]
After a long struggle, Cantal, Marquis of Otto, ruels supreme having finally wrestled control of the Merchmin region from Kelvin. Now, 19 years after Gustave's death, Anima flees his body and he dies at the age of 59. Him empire is divided among so many heirs that it is reduced to insignificance, losing it's former power.
Kelvin marches further into the Lordless Lands, negotiating treaties with the Lords of Merchmin and Hahn Nova.Aged 67, Kelvin finally makes his dream come true and becomes ruler of the country.
Meanwhile, Cantal's daughter, Lady Nicolette Drangueforde, travels to Laubholz to urge the local ruler, Duke Edmond, to fight against Kelvin. She also travels to Gruegel and encourages a similar course of action from King Sho of Na.
