1247 - Father's Sudden Death
Father's Sudden Death (1247) is the # 11th scenario of Gustave XIII in SaGa Frontier 2.

Objective[edit]
Roughly five years have passed since Gustave made Wide his headquarters. Thanks to Mouton, the people of Wide increasingly accept and support their new ruler during this period of peace and quiet.
Just when Gustave is relaxing he recieves sad news that his father, King Gustave XII of Finney, has died. Being outcast, he is not interested in the question of who should be the rightful successor to the throne, and sees no point in returning to Thermes to meet his siblings.
Together, Sir Kelvin and his army manage to pursuade Gustave to return to his childhood home. However, he still needs someone to command the troups and manages to enlist Nebelstern to help him.
