Piano Pieces "SF2"
Piano Pieces "SF2"' (full title Piano Pieces "SF2"~ Rhapsody on a Theme of SaGa Frontier 2') is a piano-based arranged album of music from SaGa Frontier 2. The songs were composed and arranged by the Original Soundtrack composer Masashi Hamauzu, and performed by Naoko Endo, Daisuke Hara, Mikiko Saiki, Daisuke Karasuda, and Michiko Minakata.
The album's 24 tracks are broken up into groupings of tracks with the same name and are various arrangments and re-imaginings of some of the original soundtrack pieces. Every grouping but the last consists of piano arrangements, while the last grouping, "Rhapsody on a Theme of SaGa Frontier 2", is a full orchestral arrangement. It was published by DigiCube on July 7, 1999 and included a booklet with the full score to all of the piano arrangements in the album. It was reprinted by Square Enix on July 21, 2010, and included an extra track number 25, a new version of "β [1]".
