Template:RSRS-BetaKatarina Lauran (カタリナ・ラウラン Katarina Rauran?) is a main character in Romancing SaGa 3. She is only playable in her scenario and cannot be recruited, but she does join both Mikhail and Harid briefly at the beginning of their stories.
Monika places great trust in Katarina, seeing as how she is her personal bodyguard. Mikhail places trust in her as the guardian of the Masquerade; a remnant of the Holy King given to the royal family of Loanne.

Katarina's S variant comes equipped with the ability to grasp Flowing Slash, an incredibly useful Skill that can debuff. Other than that, she is relatively servicable but is outshined by her SS variant in every possible way.

However, due to her lackluster Style releases, Katarina slowly just phased ouf of the public light in general. Even then, she had a time when she was considered worthwhile thanks to her New Years variant
