Stone
Stone (石) is a status Ailment that appears in various games in the SaGa series. It is usually caused by the stare attack used by Medusas or other enemies. It can also be caused by magic spells such as Stone Skin. When turned to stone that character cannot be damaged or cured during battle. That character also cannot act and the status lasts the entire battle. If all characters are turned to stone it will result in a game over as if everyone died. In Romancing SaGa, if a character was stoned the status would not fade even after the battle was over; an item had to be used to clear it.
