Light Shift (ライトシフト) is a Space Spell in SaGa Frontier 1.

- Appears as LightShift, a Spell in the Space School of Magic. In the Remaster, it is called Light Shift.
- Light Shift can be obtained by purchasing from Kylin, recruiting them, or having either Blue or Rouge have it via the Gift for Space Magic. Light Shift does not inflict damage on the target, but instead acts as support. When used, it bathes the battlefield in sunlight to the field, thus making Deathsynthesis (which most if not all undead type enemies have) stop working, turning off their automatic healing factor. At the same time, Light Shift causes Photosynthesis to start working and it will begin healing any monster that has this ability. Kylin starts with Photosynthesis in his skillset, making it perfect to use with him as well as any monster ally that may have it absorbed.
