Wood (also called Ward) is a recruitable character from Romancing SaGa 3.
Story
Wood is a hunter who works on the northern regions near Justerm. When first met, Wood will offer a job to go to the Ice Lake and defeat the monsters there before the hunting season (If you're playing with Harid you may have difficulty triggering this event depending on what you did, as Wood will comment on his greediness). Such event is necessary to trigger the Aurora Borialis and unlock the snowman village. After this Wood will return to Justerm, where he offers to join the party to get some money.
Gameplay
Wood is a dedicated tank character, as he have a very high defense and is very slow. Because of this, he is perfect to wear full-body armors and be placed in the center of defensive formations. Wood is also skilled with big-swords.
