「ファイアブリンガー」が消滅すれば、帝国も不要になる。
支配を続ける帝国に対して、各地で反乱が起きる。
それは皇帝の息子達による内乱へと繋がる。
混乱の中、「ファイアブリンガー」を倒した英雄である
皇帝が暗殺され、帝国はあっけなく瓦解した。

それから７０余年。
帝国時代を知る者もほとんどいなくなった。
世界の混乱は続いていた。
新たな危機が迫っていることに気が付く者など、
存在しなかった。

だが時代は主人公を用意する。
新しい時代の新しい主人公を。

Orchestral Music Symphonic Odysseys:

Tribute to Nobuo Uematsu concert, Cologne, Germany in 2011 . Played the overworld theme from Makai Toushi SaGa and the final battle theme from SaGa 2

Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra:

Romancing SaGa the Stage: released of the four tracks composed for the theatrical performance. Arrangement of battles 1 and 2 + a duet Sarah ( Risa Niigaki) and the Boy (Yūki Kaon); Solo for Fatima (Haru Kasamatsu); The performance also contained several piano pieces + a pit orchestra arrangement of Byunei's Den and the Field theme (listen for the others), but these were unfortunately not included on the CD. 

SQ Music Series

Cure SQ キュアエスキュー (SQEX-10412) released on December 11, 2013, featured recorder versions of the following SaGa tracks performed by the Kuricorder Quartet:

SQ Chips エスキュー チップス (SQEX-10248) released on September 21, 2011, featured a chiptunes medley of Lethal Strike, Ah!!, Never Give Up, and At the End of the Decisive Battle from SaGa 2 Hihou Densetsu, arranged by Hige Driver.
