Square Enix (株式会社スクウェア・エニックス) Is the current publisher of the Romancing SaGa series. Once known as simply Enix, the company was founded September 22, 1975. They were once rivals with the company Square. On April 1, 2003 the two companies merged to create Square Enix. Some of the games they are most known for are the Dragon Quest series, Final Fantasy and Romancing SaGa.
