Editing Romancing SaGa 2 Events

*Events with (R) in their name means that they are exclusive to the mobile version/re-release of [[Romancing SaGa 2|RS2]], or someone hacked the SNES game.

*Spoilers are abound, so read at your own peril.

*These are the events that happen after Gerard defeats [[Kzinssie]].

==Help the Mountain Monks==
#Enter the Pub at Nibel, talk to the bartender and ask for a drink, you will then overhear two men talking about the [[Martial Artist|Mountain Monks]], speak with them and highlight the first option.
#Enter the Dragon's Cave and Karl, the Mountain Monk asks you to get rid of the slime monster that is in the cave, since he can't defeat it. Accept it and enter the Monster Cave.
#Fight your way into the slime, then fight an Smart Gelatin.
#Return to the Dragon's Cave and report your victory with Karl, one of those may happen
*If you defeated the stationary demon monster, Karl will get angry and attack you, defeat him, and you shall fail this quest.
*If you returned to Dragon's Cave after defeating the Smart Gelatin, he shall rid the cave from monsters and you shall be able to recruit him. But you must follow him into the depths of the cave!

==Canal Fortress==
#Sleep at Gerard's bed, go to the weapon shop and enter the furnace.
#At Avalon's roofs, make your way into a window, Gerard spots Cat and she will run away, exit the building, and eventually you'll see Cat being attacked by demons, highlight the first option and defeat the monsters, Cat thanks you.
#Go to the PUB and highlight all options.
#Go to Avalon Graveyard and speak with the old man.
#At the Thieves Guild, speak with Sparrow, then speak with Cat, they shall accept working into finding a passage at Canal Fortress, but you must help them with monsters at Avalon's Sewers.
#At the Sewers, make your way to the stationary Aquatic enemy and fight a Deep One.
#Return to the Thieves Guild and speak with Cat, she then goes to Canal Fortress.
#Enter a small basement and Cat shall be there, speak with her and she will reveal you a passageway.
#Make your way into he fortress, knives shall be in your way to guide you into he boss.
#Prepare yourself, because this fight shall be the hardest up to now, a Viking, a Lizard and the Pyro Rex.
#After this, you should undergo a Generation shift. Ah, the descendants of Cat and Sparrow shall be recruitable, also, Canal Fortress becomes Miramar.
==The Cumberland Civil War==
(This must be done within the generation after Gerard otherwise you will lose out on some options)
#Head to Douglass and speak with the King, then head to Nerak and Hofah to speak with George and Sophia respectively.
#Return and say you spoke with them
#The king will then ask you who should be his successor, regardless of what you choose, the night passes
#Head to the south end of Douglass and then through a nearby garden, then through the trees to find Thomas.
#Now who you choose as the Successor will affect the quest progression differently
*If you chose George or Sophia, you will take Thomas to the one of the two you did not choose
**Then head to the South Wall and defeat the monsters burrowing into Cumberland from the Steppe
*If you chose Thomas or were indecisive, you will be forced to leave 
**Return to find out that Douglass was overrun by Cyfreet's Gold Army (This is what will happen if you do not do this quest as soon as the torch is passed), head into the castle via the hidden pathway from earlier when you found Thomas, and head into the dungeon, check the south wall of a cell to find a door to free Thomas spirit. Take him to Nerak and reunite him with George. Then head to Hofah and enter the Fireplace at the School to speak with the people there.
#Once either path is complete, you will learn of Cyfreet's fortress, head there and defeat him to liberate Cumberland and add it to the Empire.
==Monsters at Tefal Mines==
#Go to Tefal, and speak to an NPC to open up the Gemstone Mines.
#Defeat the boss on the 2nd Floor to clear the quest and add another source of Revenue to your taxes.
==The Darkstone==
#You will hear that the mine's revenue dried up from your minister, head to the Mines and go deeper inside from when you last entered, destroy the stone at the end to complete the quest. (Taking a stone fragment is optional but it allows you to make a Darkstone Ring at the Mole Village)
==The Saigos Clan==
(There is a chance Dantarg can appear in this quest as a boss instead of the random monster selected to be a boss)
#At Tefal, talk to the old lady to open up Ludon Highlands, head through the south exit of that area to reach North Nazelle
#At Saigos village, speak to the people there to learn of the Oubilettes which have monsters in them.
#Clear the nearby Oubilette and then head back to learn from the people there of the Herding grounds, speak with the Mu Herder to hear of his plight, accept the quest he gives and clear another Oubilette. Return to the Herder afterwards to add North Nazelle to the Empire.
==Lost Child and Calf==
#From North Nazelle, head across the straight to South Nazelle and speak to the Herder to learn that a calf and child went missing in a nearby cave.
#Enter the cave and follow the sounds of the Calf's cries until you reach the depths
#Defeat Dantarg and rescue the child and Calf, then report back to the Herder to clear the quest and have the Mu Herders as allies.
==The Imperial Merchants of Avalon==
(This Quest can end in 3 Ways)
#At Mobelm head to the building in the northwest, depending on who is the emperor, you may overhear information, or the Merchants will scatter.
#If you got information, head to Tefal and talk to the Bartender to learn of the path to Cape Chalier
*Reach Nuono to catch the Merchants by surprise and they will cooperate 
#If the merchants run, just head to the ship moored at the docks and head below deck.
#Speak to the NPC at a room in the back and you can either fight him or ask to ally. 
*If you choose to fight and win against the Merchant, you can take the ship directly to Nuono via the cave system where you will make a choice.
#If you ask to ally, he will mention that the mines are assailed by monsters and if you clear them out, he will give you passage to Nuono.
*The Mines will then be open, head to the lowest level, but head through a wall in the back to find the boss, defeat it and return to Mobelm.
*Report back to the quest giver and then you will be off to Nuono, just head to the deck, down below and then to the deck again to dock at Nuono
*After you reach Nuono you will be asked to accept a fee for protection, do so to ally with the Merchants.
==Garon's Coup==
#You will hear from the Minister that the Merchants have Seceded.
#Head to Mobelm and go to the large building to speak with the leader and find out that Garon has caused a schism
#Now you can either go one of two ways to Nuono, pretty much the same paths as the other quest.
*By boat
*Via Cape Chalier
#Once you reach Nuono, defeat Garon and follow him, defeat the monsters he sends after you and follow him through the passage until he flees via boat, ending the coup.
==The Menace of the Savannah==
#Stay at Ostro village for a night and then you will be woken to the sounds of screaming, choose to enter the hole that appeared in the center of the village
#Head to the depths of the hole to fight the Hive Queen, defeat her and report to the Hunter in the southeast building of Ostro to complete the quest.
==The Emperor and the Mermaid==
(Note, you can fail this if you do not do it in one go and your Emperor must be male)
#Head to Atlanticus in South Longit and talk to the NPCs until it gets dark
#Head into the bar, watch the scene and leave
#Repeat 2 more times and then after the scene, head out the back door and head to see the dancer turn into a Mermaid.
#Speak to a woman in one of the houses to learn of the Witch's Sanctum
#Head to the Sanctum and speak with the Witch to learn of how to make a Merman Potion
#Collect the Ingredients
*The Sea Swallow Nest is in Toba, head east until you reach the cliffs, climb to the top and claim the Nest
*The Lake Aqua Water is at Lake Aqua in the Ludon Highlands, head west and try to take some water, the Nereid will tell you she will only fork it over if you get a Moonlight Comb
**Head to the Mole Village and speak to an NPC in the eastern end of the village to learn of how to make a Moonlight Comb
**Head to the Full Moon Inn at Avalon and stay there to capture moonlight.
**Return to the Mole Village with the moonlight and you will get the Comb
**Return to Lake Aqua to be permitted to take the Lake water and the Nereid shall be recruitable as well.
*Head to Ostro at the Savannah and speak with the Hunter to learn of the Eggs, head to the eastern most part of the Savannah and fight a Pyrohydra
*After the battle, the bird will hatch out of the egg, take the shell
#Return to the Sanctum and speak to the Witch to get the potion
#Head to Atlanticus and go to where the Mermaid fled to, go in 3 times and then talk to the Mermaid for the Emperor to Abdicate, completing the quest.
==The Landship==
#Head to the Nomad village on the Steppe and speak with the Nomad in the tent in the back. Accept his quest, and he will take you to the Landship where it is revealed that it has started to move.
*If you have unlocked Avalon University, head there and choose to Enroll, clear the quiz and then speak to the man in the lower right room who will tell you he has a plan on tackling the Landship.
**Head to Hofah and speak to the tactician there who will then tell you to head to the Steppe.
**At the Steppe, you will see a fake landship made by him, speak with him and then talk to the Nomad to begin the infiltration. You should be able to easily defeat Bokhohn.
*If you have not unlocked Avalon University, head back to Miles and the town will be infested with Beastmen but they will not attack you, talk to an NPC who will mention he has a job for you, accept to be taken aboard the Landship, but you will have no items or gear, however the ship has chests with gear in them along with a fire sword. Fight your way to Bokhohn and defeat him to liberate the Steppes from him.
==The Towers of Teretuva==
#At Teretuva there are 3 towers with monsters, head up the middle tower and defeat the boss to liberate Teretuva from the Seven Heroes
==The Wandering Lake==
#In Melu Desert, you will find an Oasis, but it may be a mirage, keep wandering until you find it. Jump into the lake when you enter and head inside the building to find Noel fighting another warrior.
#Noel will then offer a peace deal (This cannot be done if you defeated Rocbouquet prior to speaking with Noel, and the deal will be rescinded if you return to speak with him after peace is made and you defeat Rocbouquet.)
#Defeat Noel and speak to the Desert Guard to be able to recruit him and clear the quest, speak to the blue haired man to learn of the Loess Ruins.
==The Queen of the Jungle==
#At the Salamat Jungle, the southernmost village is under Rocbouquet's control, head into the tower and defeat the Ruffle Tree at the end standing before Rocbouquet, afterwards talk to her. 
*If your Emperor is male, Rocbouquet will ask you to help her defeat a Guardian, turn her down and you will fight her, if you lose to her, she forces you to fight the Guardian anyway. 
*If your emperor is female, you will be forced to fight it anyway as you've proven yourself to her to fight the Guardian
*If you defeated the Guardian and raised the tower prior to speaking with her, Rocbouquet will run off to the tower.

==The Sunken Tower==
#In the Jungle of Salamat, there is a path leading to ruins, a giant stone guardian stands at the entrance, defeat it and progress through the ruins to raise a tower in another area of the Jungle. 
#Progress through the tower to find a dragon at the end. 
*If you did this before meeting Rocbouquet, she will be at the end of the tower after speaking with her once and you won't be able to fight her until later on as she is uncovering the mystery of the tower.
*If you did defeat her and then headed to the tower, the dragon will talk a bit about the Seven Heroes and their past to you instead.

==What Lovely Music==
#At Yuyan in Jauda speak with the Bartender to learn of the Irises and their love for music, he will mention the Bard.
#There are 5 instruments in all
*Nuono: Complete Garon's Coup and check the innermost depths of the area to find an instrument
*Avalon: Speak to the Innkeeper about the Bard to learn where he left an instrument
*North Nazelle: Talk to an NPC in Saigos Village to open up the Bardic Grotto to find an instrument
*Mole Village: One of the rooms holds an instrument
*Zemio: One of the buildings holds an instrument (Requires Stone Boat from Salamat Jungle to reach)
#Upon obtaining all 5 instruments, head to Mt. Chikapa's Summit to meet the Irises and clear the quest
==The War in Jauda==
#Talk to the NPCs in Yuyan and then head to Chonto Castle
#Speak to Lord Ato at Chonto
#Head to Liangshan and talk to Sekishusei
#Return to Chonto and head to the top floor, defeating both a monster there and then Sekishusei
#Return to Liangshan and speak to Jubei to learn of Hakuro Castle
#Head to Hakuro Castle and defeat the boss
#Wagnas will then lift the castle into the air
#There are now 2 ways of completing the scenario, either works.
*If you have the Windmaker that Hiraga of Somon made, you can use that to fly up to the castle by entering a town that Hakuro Castle is above in Jauda
*If you gotten the Bard's instruments and befriended the Irises, you can enlist their aid at Mt. Chikapa.
#Head to the end of the Castle and defeat Wagnas to liberate Jauda from the Seven Heroes
==The Volcano of Comroon Island==
#From the Jungle, head east to a village, from there take the boat to Comroon Island, talk to the Mayor of Tsukijima to learn of a Sorcerer who is doing research on the Volcano
#Head to the Seer's Citadel and speak with the Sorcerer who will give you an Ice Seed
#Head to the summit of the Volcano and throw the Seed into the Caldera
#Report back to the Mayor to complete the quest and add Comroon Island to the Empire
==Comroon in Peril==
(Note, failing this quest may lock you out of What Lovely Music)
#You will hear from the Minister that Comroon Island's volcanic activity has picked up.
#At Comroon Island, talk to the Mayor again, as well as the NPCs, then head to Zemio. At Zemio, talk with the Leader of the Salamanders to hear that the Volcano is set to Erupt. 
#Return to Tsukijima and report to the Mayor your findings then return to Zemio
#Speak to the Leader again to get the Comroon Hammer
#There are 2 routes you can take for this quest after this point:
*Head to the Volcano and stop the buildup of Magma
**Climb the Volcano and head to the summit, same like the prior quest. When you reach the Summit, you will find a large rock, defeat the monsters and break the rock to avert the Eruption. It is suggested that you have levelled up your Club/Axe Level before tackling this as most attacks will not do much damage and the Hellhounds respawn every so often. Destroying the rock will cause lava to flow out, damaging your team at the end of the battle, so be prepared for that.
**Return to the Seer's Citadel and speak with the Sorcerer to fight him. Defeat him to clear the quest.
*Let the Volcano Erupt
**To let the Volcano Erupt, all you need to do is to return to Tsukijima after obtaining the Hammer, it will erupt and leave many craters, Zemio will be completely gone which means you cannot get one of the Bard's Instruments.
**Check the map and you will see a new island, either head to the Seer's Citadel or go to the risen island, either or it results in the same thing. In the innermost areas of the island is a chest, if you came to the island instead of talking with the Sorcerer at the Citadel, he will just catch up with you, if not, you will find him opening the chest. You will fight him either way, defeat him and the Emperor abdicates. Return later to pick up the Dark Magic Tome which you can give to the Magic Research Facility to unlock Umbrology spells.
==The Bridge of Miramar==
#Speak to the NPCs at Miramar and then to Hiraga at Somon, it may take a few generations before this quest can be triggered. After speaking to Hiraga, you will see a bridge constructed.
==The Broken Bridge==
#Eventually at one point after the bridge is made, it will be broken, Hiraga will not rebuild it until what broke it is known.
#There are 2 ways this can turn out (Both Involve Lake Wyringa)
*Head to the Lake from Bihara or the Steppe if you unlocked it already and go into the cave, defeat the Narwhal. (This will make Subier able to reach his full strength)
*Go to Saigos Village and purchase the Seashell for 1000 Crowns and then speak to the Narwhal at the cave.
==The Sunken Ship==
(You must have the Merman Potion for this quest)
#The Minister shall tell you about South Longit being unable to be reached, head to North Nazelle if you were able to unlock a path from there to S. Longit, or go through the Melu Desert. Head to Toba and talk to the Diver at the Bar, then go back to the map and check the new site.
#As soon as you dive underwater, head to the boat. The sunken ship is a labyrinth in itself, you will eventually reach Garon, he is the same as he was when you fought him before except he now is an undead creature.
*After defeating Garon, there is a chance Subier will show up, if he does, fight him. If not head to Toba and talk to the Diver, she will tell you where Subier is hidden.
#Head to Mobelm and take the Armed Merchant's ship through the Nazelle Strait
#You will then find Subier, defeat him to conclude the quest.
==An Old Foe==
#As soon as you start as the Final Emperor/Empress, the Minister will reveal that Kzinssie issues them a challenge, head to the cave sealed long back at the start of the game and progress to the innermost depths, Kzinssie will send several waves of undead at you before fighting you. Defeat him to put him down for good.
==A Grudge Across Generations==
''During this even player cannot access the shops, learning new skills/spells, resting in Gerard's bed/ and emperor/empress will refuses to leave Avalon until the Hive Queen is dead, But the royal storehouse is still open.''

#The Minister will appear and then suddenly burst revealing that he has been harboring Termites, fight them and then leave your throne room. Do not talk to any NPCs or units as it will trigger a fight.
#Head down to the dungeon and then check one of the walls in the south to find a path to the Sewers.
#Go to where you defeated Deep One and go into the Mausoleum
#The Grave with termites will be the one to check
# Enter the grave to find that the Hive Queen from before hasn't been dead after all, fight her again to make sure she is extinct.
==Tying Up Loose Ends ==

#Upon defeating 4 Heroes minus Kzinssie Reborn, you must defeat one of the remaining of the 7, see the quests here to find out who you missed.
==The Road to Hell==
#After defeating 6 of the 7 Heroes, you will learn that far South of Nazelle is where the fight must be taken. Progress across the Nazelle Strait until you reach the Iceberg. The cave at the end will lead you to the final area.
#Progress through the cave and you will eventually reach an old village, at the top of the Stairs is the remaining of the 7 Heroes, but as soon as you pass through the Archway leading to it, you cannot return.
#When ready, defeat the last of the 7 and then head into the building that one was guarding to face the Final Boss. It has a large amount of HP and will gain the ability to use more attacks every 6,000 HP dealt along with using every signature move the Seven Heroes use. Once after all 7 appears it uses Astral Gate, a recovery field will be applied to the Seven that cannot be removed. Keep applying pressure and they should fall.
==Imperial Orchard (R)==
#Not so much a quest as it is a means to supplement your coffers, but it is recorded in the Imperial Log, at one point, the minister will approach you and the option for an Orchard is offered. Accept it to add a new area to the city, the orchard will expand and provide more money depending on certain conditions met.
==The Maze of Memory (R)==

#At Mobelm, speak with an NPC near the southern docks for him to mention ancient ruins in South Longit.
#Head to South Longit and check the map to find the location.
#When you enter the area, there are 4 orbs, each leads to a unique dungeon, defeat the boss at the end of each and collect their treasure of each boss to unlock a Yellow Orb in the middle of the hub.
#There you will fight Dread Queen, defeat her to complete the quest.
==The Legacy of Avalon (R)==
''This can only be done after unlocking every possible section of the map and getting every character class unlocked.''

#Upon fulfilling the conditions stay in your bed, you will then get out of bed and it will be dark, head to Victor's room and you will meet his spirit where he challenges you to a fight. Defeat him to obtain the Intaglio Ring which will safeguard the one equipped with it against all ailments.
