Romancing SaGa is a a role-playing game created by Square Co. (now Square-Enix) as the fourth game in the SaGa series. It was originally released in January 1992 for the Super Famicom (also known as Super Nintendo Entertainment System in NA and EU territories). It was a commercial success in Japan, selling over 1.3 million copies worldwide since it's original release, and is now a collector's item. It was then later ported to the WonderSwan Colour handheld system in December 2002. A enhanced remake was released in April 2005 for the PlayStation 2, under the name Romancing Saga: Minstrel Song, which was released to mixed reviews in North America, despite earning a 32/40 from Famitsu.
