Roberto is outgoing, trusts his friends and is always ready to protect them. While only twenty-seven when first introduced, his wise nature and shocking white hair make him seem years older.

== Gameplay ==
Roberto is the final Archer character in the game, and is probably the most well rounded one in the game if you want to build a Archer/Support Mage combo. Roberto is tied with Labelle and Raymond in Bow weapon growth, but has better spell art potential than any of the Archer/Mage combos barring Stone Arts. He's unique among the rest of the cast by having the highest potential with the elusive Tone Element and he's one of a handful of character with above average Beast Spell potential. His greatest asset is likely his incredibly high amount of Life Points. At 21 LP, Roberto has the second highest LP in the game only behind the unique Lord Gustave used in the final Wil Knights scenarios of Gen 1. 

Despite these nice bonuses though, Roberto can sometimes feel like a third wheel compared to the powerhouses on his team. Bow skills begin to lag a bit behind the end game sword and spear abilities and while his spell growth potential is pretty good, he's still not going to catch up to Gustaf and the Knights family in raw damage and versatility unless he's focused on using Tone and Beast spell arts. Instead, Roberto works best as a backup support character. It's often best to let him fill in the missing gaps on the team spells list, which may in fact be towards his strengths with Tone and Beast Spell Arts. He also is tied with Gustaf in SP recovery which means he can be a constant source With his strengths, Roberto is a prime candidate for learning and utilizing the Bow/Spell fusion arts which he can use with devastating effectiveness. The only drawback here is his abysmal WP Regeneration, which is the lowest of the group and typical of Archer types. This does hinder his ability to cover the team purely as a fighter, so it's best to mix it up with bow and spell arts. 

Roberto starts as a strong fighter out of the box, but will likely fall behind his other party members if they are developed to their full potential, but Roberto has a strong enough stat spread with magic to stay useful for most party configurations.
