This is a list of the magic spells available in Romancing SaGa 2.

Spells are classified in 6 schools of magic, corresponding to different elements. In order to learn spells, the player must build the research laboratory in Avalon, available after the first generation shift for one million crowns. When the player reaches certain global levels of a school of magic, new spells become available to learn in the laboratory.

The strength of the spells depend on the corresponding spell level, the Magic stat and the hidden Logic stat (which can be checked in the scales located in every room of the laboratory; a higher Logic level means weaker magic).

Pyrology

Pyrology spells are incompatible with hydrology, meaning a character can't have both types of magic at the same time.
