He is a young settler from [[Sinon]] who is friends with [[Thomas Bent|Thomas]], [[Ellen Carson|Ellen]] and [[Sarah Carson|Sarah]]. Following the events surrounding the liberation of [[Loanne Region|Loanne]], he has since become a bodyguard for Princess [[Monika Ausbach|Monika]].

Julian is a young man with dark green, wavy hair that is styled with a spiky front. He wears a styled bandana on his neck with a beaded necklace. He wears a white shirt covered by a green jacket. He wears a styled cloth draped around his waist which is supported by two criss-crossed brown belts. He wears black pants and wears blue boots.

Artist variations on his outfit show that the bandana has a rose motif pattern. His white shirt is a v-shaped neckline. He wears a black belt and a buttoned holster. His green jacket extends up to his forearms. 

Another variation resembles his sprite's color scheme. He has light, green wavy hair styled with a spiky front. His bandana and jacket are orange. His jacket has frills at the ends and has yellow laces in the middle. He wears a white shirt. He does not wear any belts. He drapes himself with a dark blue cloth at the waist. He wears black pants and wears dark blue boots.

The Christmas variation of Julian shows him wearing a black top hat covering his hair. He wears a white shirt, a green vest and a red tie. He wears brown pants and black shoes. He wears a long black trench coat.

His live-action variation shows the actor with a dark green bouffant hairstyle. He wears several necklaces. He wears a monogrammed white shirt with a v-shaped neckline. He wears a brown jacket styled with monograms on the shoulders. He wears a monogrammed cloth supported by a brown belt.  He wears a dark brown holster. He wears black pants and wears black boots.

==Story==
After Julian and the other Shinon settlers escort Monica back to Roanne, Julian will be given an offer to become a guard for Monica. He accepts in all the other character's routes. You can turn down this offer if you so choose to. On the first day he is to guard Monica she gets captured and Julian follows the monster to a cave where she is found unharmed. Inside, they find Godwin in hiding, but he escapes capture by causing a cave in. Michael overlooks Julian's blunder since he found Monica and was able to force Godwin out of hiding.

The Next day he is given a task to escort Monica to Zweig to be married. Monica doesn't want that and she wants to leave the castle, You can either accept Michael's request to escort her or flee the castle with Monica. If you choose to escort her to Zweig, the ship she is on also holds goods that cause monsters to attack the ship. Julian and Monica escape to the deck, defeat the monsters in their way and abandon ship, however this causes her to be seperated from Julian. If you chose to follow Monica's request, then you both leave the castle and go out into the world.

If you chose to leave the castle before Michael orders you to take Monica to Zweig to marry her off, and you have her in the final party, Michael will congratulate you as being a successful guard to Monica and Julian will be given the title of Baron at Monica's request.

===Recruitment===
Julian can be recruited after Loanne Castle is reopened following the royal proclamation to hunt down [[Buné]] at [[Taftan]]. He can be found lounging with the other knights of the castle, complaining that he barely gets to go outside.

==Trivia==
*[[Gian]] from [[Romancing Saga: Minstrel Song]] actually does resemble Julian. His hair is silver color, his shirt is teal and his attitude is far more clumsy than Julian's. However considering the fact that Monica from the PS2 remake looks exactly like [[Monica]] from ''Romancing Saga 3'' rather than in the original, this is unlikely a coincidence. Gian and Monica are a couple, whereas Julian and Monica are definitely not that much different. Also, it is not confirmed if Gian in the original [[Romancing Saga]] was that game's Monica's boyfriend or if this was all added to the PS2 remake.
