Imperial Guard (M)<br />Gender: Male<br />Race: Human<br />The Imperial Guards are some of the best spear users in the entire game, bar none. The male imperial guard in particular are filled with nothing but spear users. (And 3 of them will also be excellent axe tech sparkers) Male guards also has the highest strength score in the entire cast. (With the legendary Hannibal topping out at 25) Given their obscenely high strength score, and high reliability to spark the best spear techs, they make excellent end game party members. Male members of this class are named after famous military commanders.<br />

Imperial Guard (F)<br />Gender: Female<br />Race: Human<br />Female Imperial guards, unfortunately, do not have the same consistency as the male imperial guards. They tend to have a much wider portfolio of skills. 4 of them will make good spear tech sparkers, while the rest will come as decent sword sparkers to generalists.They are, however, much better casters then they're male counter part, which means they can serve as second line backup casters in a pinch. (Though, you shouldn't be relying on them for main casting). Female members of this class are named after Roman goddesses.<br />

Ooh yeah, just like the Herders, the Imperial Guards ROCK! 

They boast Emperor rank attack or defense, meaning that they are extremely valuable! Their speed is slow, just like the Herders, but anyways, put'em in Dragon Formation and they will certainly kill lots and lots! Now...open gates to Diana(not Romancing SaGa 1), the second goddess of hammers, the GOD of hammers title goes to Erik, while Minerva is the GODDESS of foils. They use foils and hammers.
