despite what it may look like, the Ocean woman is NOT a good investment for magicians. Sure, she starts with 2 magic types, but her casting power is too low to take advantage of that natural talent seriously. It's not BAD, per se, but you can do much better with say, the tactician or the Holy Order or even just your standard court mage. Though, it IS nice to not have to train your new casters.
