Diana is first seen during Albert's story, directing him in the game's basic functions. Her, Albert, and two guards go into the cave nearby in order for Albert to slay the monster lurking there as a rite of adulthood. However, an army of monsters attacks [[Isthmus Keep]], causing the two to be seperated. She is briefly controlled by the player in a battle she is destined to lose. Then, she is lost to Albert's party forever. Her ultimate fate depends on the make-up of Albert's party. If Neidhart is not within the party, Diana is revealed to be very much alive, sheltered in Neidhart's Castle during the player's battle with [[Saruin]], acting on behalf of a desperate [[Constance]]. If Neidhart is within the party, Albert will come to terms with Diana's possible death and move on. Her canon fate is currently unknown. | |||
