Female holy order characters are AWESOME compared to their male counterparts. Why? Their casting power is routinely higher than MOST of your other casters you have access to, thanks to a low DARK and high MAG. And thanks to the paladin shield, they can take a bit of punishment. In her case, having that shield is almost incidental, since as a caster, she will probably be sitting in the back. But that just sweetens the deal and makes her that much more reliable for a caster. The only downside? She's really slow. When you add in her equipment (that shield is heavy), she's effectively a slug that's guaranteed to always go last.
