The Crumbling Castle was a key strategic position within the [[Pagamoon Kingdom]]. It was located to the north of the royal capital [[Teratuva]] and was where [[Wagnas]] stationed [[Noel]], [[Sagzaar]], himself and troops from the [[Volunteer Corps]] during an effort to fight off the invading [[Termites]] 1,000 years prior to the events of ''[[Romancing SaGa 2]]''.
