Albert is the youngest child of Lord Rudolph and Lady Mariah of Isthmus Keep in the Kingdom of Rosalia. After a routine clearing of a nearby cave with his older sister Diana, Saruin's minions attack his home in a surprise night raid. Separated from his family and home, he is forced to travel the world of Mardias, to be able to reach Crystal City and report everything to Prince Neidhart.

Trivia
*Her storyline is same in other scenarios, this is mostly noticable when meeting [[Avi]] while Aisha's in the team and during the "Missing Taralians" quest.

*Aisha is often refered to as a [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tomboy "tomboy"] , both in the BradyGame Strategy Guide, but also in the game itself, althought there it seems rather weird, considering it's early in the game as Aisha herself, when a character who usually shouts things in the Taralian language, will say "Aisha is such a tomboy!". Which seems weird considering it's a modern term, as well as she's saying that to Aisha herself. Most players disagree on this however, since her clothing and attitude are quite feminine in their opinion.
    * Unlike other protagonists, Albert has a large ammount of his own storyline. This does make some consider him the main character of the game (also considering the location of the final dungeon), however others think it's just making him best suited as the first character to play as, nothing else.
    * His storyline is same in other scenarios if one recruits him early, then one can visit Prince Neidhart and conclude Albert's part of the scenario.
    * Albert is the only character with access to Neidhart's castle. He has to be in the team ALWAYS if one wishes to enter Crystal Palace. Even with Diana, entry is impossible.
    * Albert and Diana cannot be in the same team excluding the beggining of the game. They cannot even encounter each other. This was however possible in the original SNES version, where he could meet Diana in Crystal Palace for a limited time. This quest however was not finished and translated in the remake, but hints that it was planned, still remain: Diana is in Bruelle, the tower in there has an arrow indicating that it is a location one should be able to enter and last, Albert still can be caught by the guards in Loban, and land in the jail where he'll hear about events related to the "Ailing Emperor" quest.
    * Albert and Gray are also one charactera able to change their outfits. Albert obtains his new armor at the end of the Dragon Knight quest, this however requires one to have Neidhart in your team when accomplishing the quest in order for the Dragon not to die.
